...That's how long it's been since I've actually gotten on DA. Well...it seems that long anyway. In actuality it has only been about a month, but all the things that have happened in this past month are enough to make your head spin.

The biggest, and most important thing that happened during my brief hiatus was the addition of a new member to the family. No, there was no birthing involved. A friend of mine has had a tough time his whole life. Moving from one family member to another because no one want to take to time to help him with his many problems (bi-polar disorder, recently coming out of the closet, ect.) Instead of giving him the love and compassion he needs they would rather pass him off to the next relative or kick him out. After being thrown from his fathers home (again) he finally decided to call me, as I've been offering to give him refuge from this unstable environment for a while. Surprisingly my parents welcomed him with open arms, and by now we've all but adopted him into the family.

The drama and adventure from this whole ordeal has unfortunately kept me away from both my computer and sketch books for quite some time. On the bright side my desktop's beginning to work again so it will only be a matter of time before I'm posting more art than you'll know what to do with.
